Since 1912, the California Podiatric Medical Association (CPMA (link is external)) has served as a symbol of excellence in the podiatric medical specialty. As California’s “Trusted Source for Podiatric Health Information,” CPMA (link is external) and its members are dedicated to promoting public health through policy, advocacy, innovation and continuing education. Through public policy, advocacy, education and other means, CPMA (link is external) promotes the health of the public, the profession and the individuals it serves.

Founded in 1912, the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA (link is external)), headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, is the leading resource for foot and ankle health information. Currently, the organization represents a vast majority of the estimated 15,000 podiatrists in the country. In addition to the national headquarters, APMA (link is external) boasts 53 state component locations throughout the United States and its territories, as well as affiliated societies.
